Eagles re-sign Darby to 1-year deal worth reported $8.5M

The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing back cornerback Ronald Darby on a one-year contract, the team announced Friday. His deal is worth $8.5 million, a source told NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Darby tore his ACL in November, and while other teams offered him multi-year pacts, he opted to sign a prove-it deal with the hopes of cashing in next offseason, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
