New York Air Brake continues to expand beyond railroad braking systems with the recent purchase of a company that makes locomotive fueling and servicing equipment.
NYAB officials announced Friday that the company recently bought Snyder Equipment Company, Inc., a Nixa, Missouri-based company that also remanufactures locomotive components.
President and CEO Ulisses Camilo says the acquisition makes NYAB “a one-stop destination for an even wider range of high-quality products and services.”
The terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
New York Air Brake is based in Watertown with manufacturing plants in Missouri, North Carolina, Illinois, and Texas.
