Watertown Daily Times | Police: Black River woman had BAC more than four times over limit following crash

WATERTOWN — A Black River woman faces charges after allegedly driving while intoxicated and colliding with another vehicle Sunday on the 100 block of Mill Street.

Detective Lt. Joseph R. Donoghue Sr. said a three-year-old boy, who was riding with a 38-year-old woman, was transported to Samaritan Medical Center for minor injuries after Samantha A. Morrison, 34, of 30204 Route 3, Black River, drove through a red traffic light and collided with the vehicle the toddler was inside. The incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m.

Ms. Morrison had a blood alcohol content of 0.36 percent, according to police city records. State law says a BAC of 0.08…
