Watertown Daily Times | Police seek more witnesses, leads in Club Rio shooting

WATERTOWN — Even with a quick arrest, police continue to track down leads and seek out witnesses who could help them investigate the shooting at Club Rio early Saturday morning that left five people injured.

City police Detective Lt. Joseph R. Donoghue Sr. said Monday police have already talked to many witnesses who were at the Franklin Street nightclub when the shooting occurred or those not at the scene but who might have information helpful to the investigation.

“There may be people with a better view or saw something and we still would like to talk to them,” he said.
