The day after winning the 116th Assembly District election, Mark Walczyk is answering a lot of text messages and phone calls from family, friends, and supporters. Walczyk has also begun to assemble his transition team.
“Constituent services is the bread and butter of being a good Assembly member and I want to make sure I have the right team on the ground to serve the people of the river district.” said Walczyk.
The Republican challenger took 54 percent of the vote, beating 5 term incumbent Addie Jenne. Walczyk won in both St. Lawrence county and Jefferson county. He says that’s thanks to hard work.
